Trash, Recycling and Yard Waste Collection:

Effective 1/1/2012, L&K Services, Inc. (website) will be providing trash, recycling and yard waste pickup services for the Nall Hills Homes Association.


Also, effective 1/1/12, the annual dues you are required to pay each year now cover all three services. Please see the attached letter from L&K for additional information.


Trash Pickup days (all 3 services will now be picked up the same day):

Tuesday: for residents between 95th Street and Indian Creek Drive and East side of Horton/Outlook East to Nall. Tuesday pickup will also include south of 103rd between Walmer and Nall.


Wednesday: for residents between 95th street and the north side of 103rd and between Glenwood and the west side of Outlook.


Holidays observed by L&K (pickup day will be one day later if your pickup day falls on or after the holiday during the week): New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day


Please note the change in collection limits effective 1/1/2012:


    - Household waste: 3 (30 lb) cans OR 3 (30 lb) bags OR one 95 gallon cart.


    - Yard waste: 6 bags per week (must be compostable bags only) Note: increased to 10 bags per week in Nov and Dec only. Limited collection in Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar (click to review schedule and guidelines)


    - Recycling: UNLIMITED (if you put out recycling in containers other than what is provided by L&K, please make sure to clearly mark these as RECYCLE). click here for a list of what is and is not acceptable material for recycling)


    - PAY AS YOU THROW: If you throw more than the limits stated above, you must have purchased STICKERS and attached them to the additional items, otherwise they will not be picked up. Stickers can be purchased at Nuts and Bolts Hardware, Ranchmart Hardware or from L&K directly.


NEW FOR 2012 - BULKY ITEM PICKUP ONCE A MONTH: The first week of every month, each homeowner will be allowed ONE bulky item to be picked up. Restrictions - no appliances and item must not be longer than 5 feet in length!

Even though glass recycling is NOT part of the curbside recycling program for our neighborhood, there are convenient glass recycling drop-off locations available to all of us for recycling our glass items. Here is a list of the nearest glass recycling locations:
