1. Do I have to make my payment online?A. No, you can mail in a check like you have done in the past or drop it off in the mail slot at 10025 Lamar Ave.
2. Will the homes association have access to my credit card information? A. No, only PayPal has access to your credit card information. When a payment is successfully made, the homes association receives a message containing only your name, contact information, address, and the amount paid. At no time will the homes association ever see or have access to your credit card information. That’s one of the benefits of running the transactions through PayPal. 3. What if I do not have a PayPal account? A. You don’t need one! You can pay through PayPal as a guest and simply enter your name, address, and payment information after you click on the “Buy Now” button on the association web site. 4. What payment types does PayPal accept? A. PayPal accepts verified U.S. bank accounts, credit cards, and transfers from your available PayPal account balance. Credit & Debit cards currently accepted include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB. 5. What “Address” should I use? A. *** Important *** So that we know what property the payment is for, you must enter the address which exactly matches the address to which you would like the payment applied before you click “Buy Now”. It will be very helpful if you also include on the “Address line 2” line the lot number of your property, which can be found on the assessment letter which will be mailed to you in December (above your name on the statement). And lastly, be sure to include your phone number, so in case there are any questions we can give you a call. 6. What if I own multiple homes in the neighborhood? A. You will need to either mail in a check, with a separate listing of what properties the payments should be applied to, or create multiple on-line payments, with each having a separate “Address” so that we know what specific property that individual payment should be applied to. 7. Does the Homes Association collect any type of fee or charge interest for making an on-line payment? A. No. The only fee charged is by PayPal (about 3% of the transaction amount.) This is the fee the credit card companies charge to use their service. No other interest or convenience fee is collected by the homes association. |
